We are going on week 7 in lockdown. And amidst all that, we have been home trying to navigate a new normalcy. For most of us this includes binge-watching tv, going to the fridge a dozen or so times, and wearing pyjamas to Zoom meetings. All of that is good; but as we patiently wait to re-enter the outside world, here are 10 things you can do to keep you going during quarantine.

It’s been a minute since we have been gracing the interwebs. Family, job action strikes, illness and life kept us busy and distracted. When hobbies are just that, they often take a backseat to the realities of real-life. No time for curated content, Instagram posts, photoshoots. Nada. Just a full pause. Periodt.
These last 6 weeks in quarantine have taught us not only how important family is; but how important it is to follow your passions. We owe it to ourselves and our kids.
They say if love something let it go and if it comes back, it was meant to be yours. And that’s how we feel about the blog. It’s our love letter. The one you write and sometimes mail to the one who got away. You have ups and downs, ebbs and flows; but you always find your way back.
Our love letter says: “We still have something to share. To impart our favourite pieces of this tapestry called life, stitch them together and present it to you.”
Our unique perspective infused with our Canadian birthplace, our Jamaican heritage , and how that informs our amazing journey of motherhood as well as our love for fashion.
And we thank you for asking us when you can continue to hear from us. The time is now. Thanks for your love, support and prayers. Most of all thanks for welcoming us back.
