I am often looking for ways to de-clutter. We have so much stuff! Clothes, shoes, toys. So when I found a way to get rid of the stuff and make some extra money I was so excited. I usually donate the things that I no longer need to Goodwill or Value Village; but a few months ago I was introduced to this really great concept of selling my things locally. I know what you are thinking, Craigslist and Kijiji are ways to freely sell things online. But VarageSale is a great local, easy access app where you can upload items that you want to sell and meet up with buyers within hours. VarageSale is fast-paced. Something might be listed and sold before you even have a chance to lay claim. That’s one of the advantages of VarageSale–thousands of potential buyers are just waiting for new things to be added. You never know what someone is looking to buy! If you are selling an item, someone with let you know they are interested and you can plan to meet or arrange a porch pick up for the item. Often times, payment can be left in the mailbox or under the front mat. I personally really like this option as timelines don't always align. VarageSale has been a great addition to my resource list to find gently used items. It helps to save me money and it is easy to find exactly what I am looking for, not only from my computer at home, but anywhere using my mobile app. I have been able to shop for household items, clothes and shoes for my children (a hugh plus since my kids are growing daily). The many community options allow you to access goods from all over the city within seconds. Also, you can even get brand-new items through the app at a fraction of the cost.
Be sure to check out VarageSale here. You never know when you might find that next great deal. TK.
