I love seeing the colour green in my closet, but have very few pieces. So when I saw this Vera Moda turtleneck dress at Hudson's Bay I knew it had to be mine. A dress like this is a classic staple and will spend many seasons in my wardrobe. As with most of my new finds, I donned this beauty at church on Saturday. I paired it with a simple wide black belt from H&M and patent leather Michael Kors booties that I found at Winners a few years ago.
I always try to dress my mini junior #myguyshii in outfits that complement what I am wearing. It won't be long before he is no longer on board, so I'll keep doing it until he starts to picket.
Shii wore a blue and green checkered button-down from Polo by Ralph Lauren. His leaf-green slim fit pants from H&M were the tie-in to my outfit. I added a navy vest (also from H&M) to make the outfit a little more dressy. The shoes and belts were items that I bought a few years back. Seeing as Shii is petite, I can buy investment pieces like these because he wears them for a couple years.
