Last weekend I had the privilege of attending the wedding of a good friend. She stood for me as a bridesmaid five years ago. I was so happy to see her join the club! #wifelife She is so full of life and such a warm spirit. She's always laughing and made a exceptionally beautiful bride.
She had a wonderful mini bachelorette and a wonderful wedding with family and close friends.
In true TK fashion, I utilized my #thriftfinds for the weekend's festivities. For the bachelorette party, I wore a teal flared skirt with a patterned off-the-shoulder top. I really enjoy dresses and skirts. It gives me an excuse to show off my legs. Lol
For the wedding,I decided to go with a bright floral sheer dress. While the wedding was outside on one of the hottest days, reception venues are usual cold. The long sleeves were a perfect balance. I picked up this dress a couple months ago knowing I had a few weddings to attend this summer. I decided to belt it to give the dress some shape.
With all the events this summer, I'm so glad I scored some great finds. If your social calendar is anything like mine, and you have many events to attend, I challenge you to try getting an outfit together with at least 1 piece thrifted for your next outting.
Are you up for the challenge?
Happy Friday JR!
